"Anonymous" had called a world-wide picket against Scientology and about 8-9,000 responded worldwide. Action in London started at 11:00 at the Queen Victoria Street "org" or white elephant. Four to five hundred people (mostly young and mostly wearing Guy Fawkes masks, though there were a scattering of oldies and a scattering of really scary masks) filled the pavements at both sides of the road. It was great to meet some veteran protestors as well as so many new faces (or masks). At about two the focus switched to Tottenham Court Road. The numbers were so great that the police had to revise their plans and let the protestors occupy half of the road.
